Hello there lovely cyber people, we have all had a great Christmas break, Evan went back to his motherland, Ireland, Luke (th e guy writing this) went to Australia to visit family and Phil maintained the Yorkshire stronghold to hang out with his Gene sharers.

We are working on all the new songs for the follow up release to our debut ‘Got Gumption?’ which is released on the 8th of March 2010, We have some pre release copies which will only be available from our live gigs, so if you fancy one then check out the gig listing over at WWW.L-MO.CO.UK

I am also wearing the first in a long line of custom hats that Gumption? will be putting out as well as some T-Shirts, I will enveil the T-shirt in the next couple of days and people can let me know if they fancy getting their hands on one, all are hand made on high quality American Apparell T-Shirts.

A little self portrait to start things off

Okay so hello to all you wonderfull people who have found there way to read my writings, much obliged for your cyber company, you look well today.

First things first……………I apologize for being so crap about updating this blog but all the traveling and playing every night is a new one for me especially when I dont speak the language and trying to sort it all out, BUT that is no excuse so I am sorry, wont happen again.

So, Malaysia first and a really good gig over at the Laundry bar as part of the monthly night Moonshine, good crowd and sold the first copies of my pre release new album, cheers to Reza for putting on such a good night and making me feel more than welcome. After Stopping in Singapore to see a mate for 2 days it was off to Tokyo, which is officially one of the coolest places I have ever been,

Got to Tokyo and got to the hotel okay and managed to order myself some nice breakfast down the road, lots of pointing, smiling and bowing were involved, one of the nicest egg toast sandwhiches I have had in a while and in Japan!!! very strange, lots of sign I could not read and people I could not understand, all you can really do  is laugh and stay safe in the knowledge that you have a place to sleep at night and money to get back so nothing bad will ever really happen to you.

OH YEAH I also saw a toilet that had a sink and tap built into the top of it!!!! so before the water goes into the toiliet to flush away your spare stock it goes throught the tap to wash your hands,,,,,how amazingly efficient and cool is that???????? I am a gadget man and Tokyo was like an orgy is for a sex pest, a real real treat. I will keep dropping them into posts as they pop back into my head.

I have some video footage I am putting together to show you Malaysia and Japan but have not had time since I arrived yesterday in Perth but will get around to it soon enough I would imagine, really cool few gigs in Tokyo with the top one probably a tie between the pink cow and the british underground, both good crowds and a good night.

Lots of amazing sushi was consumed and some bad ass nike dunks were also bought that will be gracing my feet with their presence on stage when I am brave enough to break them in at a gig.

Lots of exciting things happening with the band when I get back to the UK in Feb so keep your eyes peeled for more info on all the hip happening hipposlappy goodness.

oh yeah the Japanese homeless people are the nicest, most organized of anywhere in the world, they live better and more civilized than some people in real houses across the world.

Right then!! I am in the process of trying to avoid going out and having too much fun so that when I leave on the world tour I am in full extra exuberant super functioning mode!!!

Okay so the new album is about ready to come back from the mastering studio, it will be available to buy in the physical form only live at gigs BUT I will be releasing “Contagious” as a single in  digital format which will be available to buy from all good online retailers,ie iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon MP3 bla bla bla etc etc etc.

This is the first recorded stuff that I have been really really 100% happy with and cant wait to start pushing it out to the world.

I am in London at the moment doing some warm up gigs and testing my equipment and set up before I head of on my world tour in December so check here for all the dates if you live in the big smoke and fancy some live music.

Hello again, so this is another one of these blog esque creations and hopefully you will all love reading it and make a desperate scramble to jump over to

Okay so these are uncensored and unrevised spouts of mine and I think this one should be on MOTIVATION.

Indeed this word is used a lot, but people really seem to miss how useful its implementation can actually be. I have recently been in a really motivated period of my life, I have lots to do and actually really love doing it all and get excited about adding more things to do to my list. Although it seems like people are largely unmotivated or motivated for the wrong reasons, they are motivated to do things so they can make money to buy stuff or go out and get wasted,fair enough if you do, but it just seems like after a while this motivation shows itself for its true shallow worth and those people are left with nothing but resent. I do however think this is better than the unmotivated people who simply do the bare minimum to get by and have no desire to do anything other than watch TV (throw the idiot box away) These people wont be reading this because they are busy watching something short and easily digestible on the idiot box or on the net. OH well.

I am reading a book called the 4 hour work week which I think is a major reason that Im writing on this topic. In the book it talks about being motivated to actually figure out what you truly want to do with your life and highlights that this will achieve a long lasting and enjoyable life as opposed to motivated to make money to allow yourself to retire only to then retire and not know what to do with yourself.

So I urge anyone out there who is not sure why they are doing stuff in their life to take a serious re appraisal of things and spend some time investigating what they would do if they could take a year out of their job right now, if you could be anything at all. Dont let doubt get in your way to begin with, just get it straight in your mind and take it from there. It really is this easy to form your own life and tailor the universe to exactly what you want.

All you need is the motivation!!!
